Metrobank Foundation Inc., Rotary Club of Makati Metro and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) recently renewed their partnership for the conduct of The Outstanding Philippine Soldiers (TOPS) by signing a memorandum of agreement (MOA) in ceremonies held recently at the AFP General Headquarters in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

A search for the crème de la crème in the AFP, TOPS celebrates excellence in military vocation by honoring the valor, gallantry and self-sacrifice demonstrated by the men and women of the Armed Forces of the Philippines in the task of building a free, fair and affluent society. The nationwide search recognizes the career achievements of ten officers and enlisted personnel from the AFP’s three branches – the Philippine Army, Philippine Navy, Philippine Air Force, as well as the AFP Technical Units.

The signing also signals the start of the 2009 Search. The deadline for submission is on November 28, 2008. . For more information, call the Metrobank Foundation at 857-5525.
