Through Funds Donated by the Foundation.
The Metrobank Foundation and the Manila Doctors College reinforced its longstanding partnership with the Pasay City government, with the opening of the recently renovated 5th floor of the Pasay City General Hospital. Fifty additional beds, as well as the necessary supplies and equipment, were purchased for the new wing, through funds donated by the Foundation.
MDC has committed to providing staff support for the wing, including security and janitorial services. 120 nursing students on three shift rotations will provide patient care, as stipulated in an agreement signed by MDC and the city government last January 2006.
Present during the ribbon-cutting ceremonies were Pasay City mayor Wenceslao “Peewee” Trinidad, Metrobank Foundation president Aniceto Sobrepeña and MDC College of Nursing dean Caridad Galban.
