Lauds Support of Metrobank
Foundation

 During
the celebration of the 2005
Philippine National Red Cross Fund
Drive Launch and Donor’s Forum last
April 26, Senator Richard Gordon,
who is also the Chairman and CEO of
the PNRC lauded the Metrobank
Foundation’s support for the
latter’s effort in the field of
public service.

The Metrobank Foundation has been a
key partner of the PNRC in promoting
humanitarian services since 1993,
when the Foundation started
providing financial support to
PNRC’s services for health care,
disaster operations, and various
community development efforts.
The
partnership was institutionalized in
2000 when the Foundation committed
to the Millennium Partnership
Program with a grant of P5 Million
to be disbursed over a period of 5
years.
More than the financial
assistance, the partnership between
the Foundation and the PNRC affirms
the organizations’ shared vision to
be of service to humanity, most
especially the underprivileged. |
