GT Foundation and Dualtech partner for Technical-Vocational Education
In line with its thrust on providing quality education for all, GT Foundation, Inc. (GTFI) partnered with Dualtech Training Center Foundation to provide technical-vocational education (TVET) scholarships to twenty-five (25) men from disaster-stricken communities in Bohol and Palo, Leyte. A total of PhP 1,375,000 was turned over to Dualtech to cover the first phase of the TVET program at the Dualtech Center in Canlubang, Laguna. Adapted from the German Dual Training System, the program will include six months of formal skills enhancement and 18 months of paid on-the-job training with reputable partner companies.
