MADE continues to extend its advocacy beyond recognizing the excellence of Filipino visual artists
Under the program MADE CARES (Community Aid and Relief for Emergency Situations), PhP 1 million will be donated to Visual Arts HelpingHands Foundation (VAHHF) to support the medical needs of local artists.
The partnership was made official on April 22, 2022 through a MOA signing led by Metrobank Foundation President Aniceto Chito Sobrepeña and VAHHF Chair Dr. Joven Cuanang and President Daniel dela Cruz. They were joined by VAHHF board members and Metrobank senior officers.
MADE-CARES was established in 2020 to provide financial support for arts and culture workers whose source of income and livelihood were challenged by the pandemic.
