Nomination Process
The Search is an open-nomination process. Nominators must be of legal age and should not be related to the nominee (i.e. immediate family member, relative, etc.). Each nominator is only allowed to nominate one (1) entrant.
Other than school administrators, principals, and school heads for teacher nominees, and immediate superiors or commanding officers of soldiers and police officers, others who can nominate include, but are not limited to the following:
- Government officials and leaders (elected officials, heads of agencies, and individuals holding the rank of at least a division chief)
- Business leaders
- Leaders of non-government organizations, institutions
- Journalists / Members of the media
- Church leaders, leaders of civil society groups or organizations
- Awardees of the Metrobank Foundation Outstanding Filipinos (formerly SOT/TOPS/COPS)
