Metrobank Foundation Distributes Shelter Kits to Odette-hit Households

Under its disaster response program “Helping Hands,” Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI), in partnership with Caritas Manila, Inc., distributed shelter kits worth PhP 500,000 to 166 families as they rebuild their houses from the devastation caused by typhoon Odette. Photos show the beneficiaries receiving corrugated galvanized iron sheets (yero) and coco lumber on March 12 at the Santo Niño Parish, Brgy. Baang, Municipality of Catigbian, Bohol.

In December 2021, immediately after Odette hit, MBFI, together with GT Foundation, Inc. extended relief assistance amounting to PhP 5.5 million to benefit 14,000 families in the provinces of Palawan, Bohol, Cebu, Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental, Southern Leyte, Dinagat Islands, and Surigao del Norte.
