GT Foundation, Inc. (GTFI) and Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) kicked off this year’s “Bags of Blessing”, a week-long distribution of P10 million worth of food packages to 10,000 families, on February 5 at San Agustin Church in Intramuros, Manila. Simultaneous distributions also happened in San Fernando City, Pampanga; Dagupan City; Batangas City; Tagbiliran City; Puerto Princesa City; Guiuan, Eastern Samar; General Santos City; and Tandag City, Surigao del Sur.

GT Foundation, Inc. (GTFI), the Ty family foundation, and the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII) inked a memorandum of agreement to launch Share a Gift of Education (SAGE) III last September at the Federation Center in Binondo, Manila. Established in 2001 by GTFI’s sister foundation, Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI), in partnership with FFCCCII, SAGE is the brainchild of the late Metrobank and MBFI founder Dr. George S.K. Ty which aims to provide educational assistance to qualified members of the Filipino-Chinese families.

The Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) announces that a total of PhP 7 million was raised from a number of individuals and groups who voluntarily contributed to chosen charities in memory of Metrobank founder Dr. George S.K. Ty. The amount will be donated to CBCP Caritas Filipinas Foundation, Philippine Red Cross, and the Philippine Disaster Resilience Foundation (PDRF) as previously announced.

Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company (Metrobank), through its corporate social responsibility arm, Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) and the Ty Family foundation, the GT Foundation, Inc. (GTFI), awarded P20 million worth of financial assistance to 36 development organizations during the annual Anniversary Grants Turnover ceremony last September 7, 2018 at the Metrobank Plaza Auditorium, Makati City.

The Metrobank Foundation, Inc. (MBFI) and the GT Foundation, Inc., together with partners Pacific Paint (Boysen) Philippines and Fluor Philippines, recognized this year’s batch of scholar graduates during the 20th Graduates’ Forum, held last June 22, 2018 at the Penthouse of Metrobank Plaza in Makati City.
